Cat's Tail Speaks More Than The Words


Have you observed your cat's tail? If not, you should watch out. Do you know tails are good indicators of mood? Take out some time and perceive your kitty's behavior. You will start to know in what mood she is in, and what is your furry pal trying to say. Here you can go through the positions of tails, which have much to say:

Tail Position - High:
If your cat has kept her tail high in the air with a little twitch, she is expressing contentment and happiness. A tail that sticks up signals, willingness to be friendly. Twitching of the tail means she is in a happy mood.

Tail Position - Low:


When your feline holds her tail straight down, it can signal aggression. It may be also a sign that she is in a very serious mood. There are certain cat breeds, such as Persian cat, which tends to keep their tail low for no reason.

Tail Position - Curved Like A Question Mark:


If you find a curved like a question mark, it shows that your kitty is in a playful mood and she is ready to have fun with you. You can take a break from your work and spend some quality time with your furry pal.

Tail Position - Tucked Between The Legs:



When your cat tucks her tail between the legs or beneath the body, it shows that she is in fear and feeling uncomfortable. It means that there is something which is making your kitty nervous.

Tail Position - Fluffed Up, Arch Tail:

This position of tail shows that your cat is severely agitated and frightened. She tries to puff herself to ward off the danger. If you find your kitty in this position that means, she is in between offense and defense and considers the situation to be threatening.

Tail Position - Swishing Tail:


When your cat is focusing on something, you will find her tail swishing from side by side. This sign is also seen when your kitty is ready to pounce on a kibble or a toy.
